Junior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor
Oxfordshire | £30,000 - £35,000 + Great Car Allowance & Benefits
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading civil engineering contractor who turnover north of £400m to recruit a Junior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. This role will be shadowing an existing member of the Health, Safety and Environment team across a range of sites throughout the Oxfordshire area.

Responsibilities or the Junior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:
- Visiting sites, supporting with the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Conducting training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigating incidents where required under supervision of the advisor
- Reviewing the production of risk assessments and method statements
- Part-taking with audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement and helping write reports on the findings
The successful Junior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally from within construction or civil engineering, although not essential
- NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate ideally, but not essential
- Good communications skills
- Drive and enthusiasm with the willingness to learn, develop and grow in the role
