Lancaster University Students’ Union needed a Health and Safety Contractor to review their health and safety policies and proactively work with senior management on improvement strategies.

Dr. Martens were looking to identify a Global Health & Safety Manager to define, shape and lead the implementation of a global safety strategy that provides a clear standard and framework. The role is primarily tasked with working collaboratively with all areas of the business to educate, influence and support, to raise the bar on safety.
Berkeley St Joseph
Berkeley Group were looking to hire a Sustainability Manager to solely lead sustainability within the St Joseph business, managing the corporate sustainability strategy and standards. The role was previously covered by another division and they were keen to fill the position quickly.
Unite Students
Unite were looking to reshape their Health, Safety and Fire team and the organisational structure of the department. As part of that process they determined they wanted a Senior Exec level Director to lead the Safety Function. Whilst a permanent Director candidate was secured they needed an interim to begin developing the new strategy and to provide risk assurance across the business in the meantime.

The National Gallery
The Gallery needed and a Health and Safety professional who also could provide expertise in Fire Risk and Fire Risk Management. The Gallery houses artworks worth hundreds of millions pounds in value and has millions of visitors each year, alongside those working in the gallery all year round. It is essential that the gallery has robust controls around fire safety alongside health and safety to ensure all those who visit the building and the artworks housed in the gallery are safe.
