Irwin and Colton has been engaged by a leading provider of technical safety, risk management and environmental services to recruit for an Environmental Consents Lead. The organisation has a track record of successful operations across onshore and offshore companies, including windfarms and solar, and are continuing to grow rapidly. This role will be initially focused on offshore wind, whilst leading the team with Environmental consents.
Responsibilities for the Environmental Consents Lead will include:
Manage current clients' environmental consents across the renewable and hydrogen projects
Provide technical advice for consents management on projects in the UK with a focus on the offshore wind industry.
Acting as the main point of contact for the environmental consents programme and continue to develop the offering that the organisation has
Lead on any new business development within the consents' projects.
The successful Environmental Consents Lead will have:
Proven experience in a similar role ideally within consultancy or offshore wind
Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental discipline
Ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM)
Proven experience with environmental consents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ideally experience working closely with stakeholders
