Responsibilities of the Trainee Health and Safety Advisor will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with UK health and safety legislation while aligning with the broader group strategy.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments throughout the site and accurately reporting on health and safety performance metrics.
  • Collaborating effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, operational staff, and regulatory agencies.
  • Providing comprehensive health and safety support across the site, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and development in health and safety practices.

The successful Trainee Health and Safety Advisor will possess:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing sector or a related industry.
  • A NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated experience in engaging colleagues and a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to health and safety, fostering a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
