Responsibilities of the Trainee Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- Ensuring compliance with UK health and safety legislation while aligning with the broader group strategy.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments throughout the site and accurately reporting on health and safety performance metrics.
- Collaborating effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, operational staff, and regulatory agencies.
- Providing comprehensive health and safety support across the site, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and development in health and safety practices.
The successful Trainee Health and Safety Advisor will possess:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing sector or a related industry.
- A NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated experience in engaging colleagues and a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to health and safety, fostering a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
