Interim Regional Health and Safety Manager
Midlands and South
Circa £400-450 per day, dependent on experience (Inside IR35)

We've been engaged by a leading global manufacturer who is a specialist within their field to recruit an Interim Regional Health and Safety Manager on a 6 month contract. The contract will focus on providing key health and safety support and management to some of the organisations key capital projects in the Midlands, South East and South West. They are looking for someone with excellent project management, CDM and construction experience.
The role offers a hybrid structure with a 50/50 split between site travel and office/home working.
The responsibilities of the Interim Regional Health and Safety Manager will be:
- Oversee all contractors on site, ensuring best practice is maintained and identify key areas for improvement
- Delivering support and training to site operatives on health, safety and environmental issues as required
- Performing regular audits and inspections across sites in the regional area, accurately reporting on findings
- Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and legislation, striving to reach industry best practice
- Develop and maintain key systems, staying on top of the permitting process
The successful Interim Regional Health and Safety Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within construction
- Client side and CDM experience is desirable
- NEBOSH or equivalent Certificate and relevant membership of IOSH (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Desirable)
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues at all levels
