What Can You Expect in This Role?
- Develop and implement the HSE plan for the Wincanton site, embedding a proactive safety culture across all levels.
- Ensure compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations, driving best practices across site operations.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and COSHH evaluations to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
- Lead HSE committee meetings, provide training and coaching to line managers, and deliver robust accident investigations with sustainable corrective actions.
- Partner with site management to implement strategies to reduce environmental impact and achieve goals such as zero landfill waste.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a senior HSE role, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, or a high-risk environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO management systems (45001, 14001).
- Ability to influence and engage at all levels, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
- Experience in environmental initiatives such as waste reduction and sustainability projects.
