Health, Safety and Environment Manager
Bath (with occasional travel to Bristol)
Salary Circa £50,000 - £55,000 Plus Benefits

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional with a strong background in heavy industrial, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar sectors?

We are delighted to partner with a world-leading design, manufacturing, and engineering company, renowned for its global presence in both its customer base and supply chain, to recruit a new Health, Safety, and Environment Manager.

The organisation has an excellent reputation, with a long history of successful operations in the UK and internationally.

This role is specifically responsible for two sites in Bath and one site in Bristol and will lead on all Health, Safety and Environmental matters.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Manager will include:

  • Ensuring the sites are compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for Health, Safety and Environment

  • Engaging with staff across the sites to drive improvement within Health, Safety and Environment

  • Auditing Health, Safety and Environment performance, accurately reporting and investigating any incidents, accidents or near misses

  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulators

  • Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment performance

The successful Health, Safety and Environment Manager will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with heavy industrial, manufacturing, FMCG or related industry background

  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum

  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders

  • A strong technical knowledge across relevant Health, Safety and Environment
