Health and Safety Consultant | London
Salary: £45,000 plus Travel & Benefits
Irwin & Colton have been engaged by a leading consultancy to recruit a Health & Safety Consultant to join their growing team. The consultancy have built an excellent reputation and a unique client network which is helping them to drive growth across all areas of their business. The role will be predominantly site based, providing an opportunity to gain experience with a range of different clients.
The responsibilities of the Health and Safety Consultant:
- Playing a vital role across the company in order to meet and surpass client expectations
- Working with a range of clients on project delivery, identifying and accurately assessing health and safety and working with them to deliver solutions
- Undertaking auditing, policy review, training, risk assessments and management systems assessment where required
- Engaging internally to share best practice and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and innovation
The successful Health and Safety Consultant will have:
- Experience within a Health and Safety role, ideally from within construction or a related industry
- NEBOSH General (or equivalent) and hold Technical Membership of IOSH (desirable)
- Excellent communications skills with proven experience of engaging with a range of stakeholders
- A positive and pragmatic attitude to problem solving within Health and Safety
