Health & Safety Advisor
London & Southeast | Salary Circa £40,000 - £47,000 + Excellent Benefits

A leading provider of housing and support services is looking for a passionate Health & Safety Advisor. This is an incredible opportunity to join a high-performing team that puts residents first, working on diverse projects that drive positive change across communities.

Key Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Advisor:

  • Support in managing and enhancing the Health & Safety Management System to ensure a proactive, risk-conscious culture.
  • Provide day-to-day Health & Safety guidance to managers, promoting the consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Deliver training across the organization to instil a culture of excellence in Health & Safety.
  • Work collaboratively with managers to identify practical risk reduction measures and maintain accurate records.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and a solid understanding of current Health & Safety legislation.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to make complex information accessible.
  • Experience in social housing or local government roles is desirable.
  • Confidence in assessing and managing risks, alongside practical experience with health and safety audits.
