Responsibilities of the Environment and Sustainability Manager will include:
Promoting Environment and sustainability best practice across the organisation, influencing both internal and external stakeholders wherever possible.
Acting as a point of contact for Environment and Sustainability across the framework providing expert advice on internal and external matters
Maintaining ISO 14001 certifications, and keeping up to date with changes in legislation, whilst also managing environmental issues.
Monitor business Environment and Sustainability strategy, managing implementation and measuring performance
The successful Environment and Sustainability Manager will have:
Degree level qualification or equivalent, in an environmental related discipline, and ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM).
Proven Sustainability experience in a similar role, ideally within the Facilities Management or Property focused environments
Proven understanding of ISO management systems (14001)
A passion for excellence, and an ambition to push forward the Environment and Sustainability agenda within an industry leader.
