The University of Bristol embarked on a campus-wide IT infrastructure upgrade project as part of its £45m Modern Network Project. With works spanning over 250 buildings, including listed properties and those with asbestos risk, the project required meticulous planning and adherence to the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
The Challenge
The University’s internal safety team required some additional specific CDM and construction expertise to manage the project’s health and safety requirements. To mitigate risk and ensure compliance, the University needed an experienced external consultant to support the project.
